A terrain that is rugged, winding and spiritual
Priorat is one of the most special places in the world. Not only because of its magical, mysterious landscape and the quality of its wines, but because it was the place chosen by the Cartoixans monks in the 12th century. Here they settled. They cultivated these lands, leaving us centuries of wine history, advancements in farming, and learning. It’s a hard land, not only because of its llicorella (slate) soil, but also because of its steep slopes that are difficult to access and because of the severe weather that is endemic to it. Its solitude and unique beauty create a fascinating mystery that allows you to disconnect from reality. Visiting Priorat is like going backwards, stopping in time, and enjoying a pure landscape full of identity.
